11/17/2008: Somerset D-lineman hears from Gators
The Florida Gators already have a handful of former New Jersey stars including Will Hill (St. Peters Prep - who recorded his first collegiate interception last weekend), Justin Trattou (Don Bosco), and Brendan Beal (Roxbury). The Garden State has a few players from the Class of 2009 that coach Urban Meyer has his eyes glued on including one of the states top defensive-linemen.

11/12/2008: HUSH and Chiefs headed to playoffs

10/29/2008: Phillips: One of two Spartans shinning
DePaul Catholic's Shakim Phillips proved that he was legit earlier this year by winning the 2008 Chuck Mound Tri State Challenge WR MVP award at Giants Stadium. This fall, along with senior-back James Jurewicz, the junior receiver has lit up the scoreboard for the Spartans by way of torching defensive-backs who have tried to cover him.

Blair Academy (NJ) is off to a 5-0 record in the MAPL due to the efforts of the Warren County school's senior running-back Dion Lewis. Lewis rushed for just under 200 yards and scored 5 touchdowns recently against last years league champions Hun. Is the dynamic-back still Pittsburgh-bound?

Irvington High School's (NJ) Joshua Evans has proven to the world that he is one of the nations top football recruits and is a player who is seeking the title of being the states TOP 2009 recruit. Already holding 30 plus offers from colleges from across the nation, Evans and a few of his teammates led coach Darnell Grant's Blue Knights to a down-to-the-wire victory over previously unbeaten Elizabeth (NJ).

10/15/2008: MULTI-TALENTED: Jersey's top QB
Morris County's Mike Colvin is one of those players who can do it all. The senior quarterback is back to his old ways - leading the Morristown Colonials to another sensational season. Last season Colvin accumulated nearly 1,000 yards in both the rushing and categories and he is on pace to doing it once again in 2008.

10/12/2008: NY's Aboushi: Rolling with BIGTIME offers
Earlier this year Xaverian High School's (Brooklyn, NY) Oday Aboushi was somewhat an unknown commodity - but that is all of the past. The 6-foot-6, 315 pound two-way lineman has what it takes to be a star at any collegiate program and quite a few programs have taken the first step in landing the senior. The recruit will also represent New York in the 2009 NJ-North East All Star Football Classic.

09/17/2008: St. Aug.'s Laws: 7 touches and 4 scores.
St. Augustine Prep out of Atlantic County, New Jersey had Jack Crawford (now at Penn State) represent the school in the Class of 2008 and now you can add another top-notch player following in the same footsteps in junior Darnell Laws Jr. Laws and his teammates faced Cardinal Dougherty (Philadelphia, Pa.) this past weekend which resulted in a huge day for the running-back.

09/14/2008: NJ's TOP FB: Dashes for 246 yards
This past weekend Wall Township (Monmouth County, NJ) proved that there is indeed life after Tim Wright (now a freshman receiver at Rutgers). An all-around team effort was the key to Wall's 35-34 victory over Long Branch, but the states top fullback was the deciding factor displaying his skills as a tailback.
